Capstone Design is a comprehensive engineering education program which allows students to improve their skills in solving real-life engineering problems by giving students the opportunities to experience the whole production process of planning, designing, and producing a finished graduation work based on the knowledge that they have obtained during their college education, instead of simply writing a graduation thesis. Therefor it raises creative and innovative engineers meeting the requirements of today's work-place and ready to be placed in real jobs. In America, through Accreditation Board of Engineering Technology, introduction of Capstone Design Courses into college curriculums has been required and has been credited as being the basis of the economic boom of America in the nineties.
