Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Energy of Korea, Korea Technology and Engineering Foundation, and Capstone Design Education Center of Seoul National University of Technology are hosting the First International Student Capstone Design Fair in 2005.
Original student works that focus on capstone design engineering are sought.
Any design of a mechanical or mechatronic system or components that can be used to promote the art, science and practice of design engineering is acceptable.
Capstone design areas include, but are not limited to: robotics, CAD, machine element design, and mechanical or mechatronic systems and new areas of design engineering.

The purpose of the design fair is to foster interest in design, provide the design engineering community with fresh new perspectives on design, and create a forum for students to share their new and innovative ideas. The organizers are also looking forward to sharing the common interests of enhancing the quality of design education among the universities of International.

A student capstone design project may be entered in the competition by submitting "three" copies of the project description by Octoer 15, 2005, to the 2005 International Student Capstone Design Fair Organizer.

The fair will be held in November 4 ~ 6, 2005 in the COEX conventional center, located in Seoul Korea.
The accepted capstone design products will be displayed in the exhibition.
Finalists will be expected to give an oral presentation of their project at the Capstone Design Fair.
The use of visual aids and demonstration of actual working models are highly encouraged.

Finalists, who are expected to attend the Exhibition at COEX, Korea will be supported for the airfare and lodging of the academic advisor and one student.
Prizes will be presented to the selected awardees in the exhibition show.
